ChilledPeru.com is a subsidiary of Project Mollepata Ltd., a tour operating company registered in England and run by William Drummond and his family.

William Drummond has lived and worked in Latin America for over 15 years and is married to a Peruvian. Roxanna Ramirez Carrasco de Drummond who runs his company with him. They have two children, and live in the seaside town and surfing mecca of Huanchaco, where they have been running a surf hostal for the past few years as well as developing their tour business.

Poverty is widespread

During his 15 years of travel experience in Latin America, William has noticed the gaps in the general tour infrastructure especially in relation to security and the general needs of foreign tourists.

After many harrowing experiences of his own William began to form his own network and help line, not only working with foreign tourists but also with other groups working with homeless and abused children and his family have been active members of La Nueva Semilla group for over 5 years.

Williams wife Roxanna whose family heritage comes from the quecha indigenous group has an extensive family in the mountainous regions surrounding cuzco and has inherited lands and contacts amongst the indigenous peoples of this area, and it is her dream to create a program which will bring employment to these humble people and the chance for a better education and services for the children of Mollepata.
